Schick Wins Series Finale for Kernels, 6-1

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA - Alex Schick notched a career-high-tying seven strikeouts over a professional-best seven innings Sunday in a 6-1 Cedar Rapids Kernels victory against the Beloit Snappers at Perfect Game Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium. Travis Blankenhorn and Jermaine Palacios led the offense with three hits and two runs apiece.
