Effective January 1, as I recall, mobile app sports' betting, which had to be approved on a parish by parish basis, is now legal. Natchitoches voters approved it. But now, I am getting the cold shoulder from Baton Rouge, the Gaming Board, which is under the LOTTO corporation, is refusing to answer any questions about revenue-sharing back to the parishes. "We'll get back to you on that," is the best response I have gotten. Our parish treasurer is also making calls down to BR.
