[Women's Basketball] Slow Second Half Hands Saints a Loss to Titans

Notre Dame, Ind.  The Holy Cross College women's basketball team took on cross-town rival (24) Indiana University South Bend this afternoon on the road. In the first matchup between the teams, IUSB edged out the Saints 52-46 back on November 13. After trailing 42-40 at halftime, the Saints would take a 5 points lead with just under three minutes to play in the third quarter. The Saints were outscored 18-11 in the final quarter; as IUSB would go on to win 71-62With the loss, women's basketball stands at 5-12 overall and 4-5 in conference play while IUSB improves to 16-1 and 8-1.
