75 years ago today MLB staged one of the coolest exhibition games ever. In order to sell war bonds, no one thought they war would be over soon in June of 1944, the Yankees, Giants, and Dodgers, played a tricorner game- a nine inning game contested by three teams. You can read about it here and it’s worth your time. Wouldn’t it be great if MLB could figure out a similar game for a worthy cause today?
