REPORT: Boras Nixed D'Backs Bid Of 5 Years, $150M

Well, now we have a better idea of what the Red Sox have to offer J.D. Martinez to snare him. Reportedly, his Uber-Agent Scott Boras turned down an Arizona offer of five years and $150 million. That's $30 million per year for those of you who are cipher-impaired. So, Boston's offer needs to be north of these specs (either in years or cash)—along with the only other identified team still the mix, the Blue Jays (who have supposedly also offered five years).
