Bahrain pre-season testing: Day 3 line-up
Today is the third and final day of pre-season testing at the Bahrain International Circuit before everyone packs up and heads down under for the opening round of the 2025 F1 season in two weeks in Melbourne.
Eight teams will split their day between their two drivers, while Red Bull and Williams will see Max Verstappen and Alex Albon respectively be on their own for the entire session.
However, there has been a change of plan at Aston Martin, with Lance Stroll – who was scheduled to start the day for Team Silverstone – feeling unwell and ceding his seat to Fernando Alonso.
Hopefully the Canadian will be feeling better in the coming hours and will be able to rejoin the action for this afternoon’s work session.
“Overnight Lance wasn’t feeling 100%,” Aston Martin said. “Fernando will now drive the car this morning and we’ll confirm our line-up for this afternoon in due course.”
Aston also has the option of running its reserve driver Felipe Drugovic this afternoon if Stroll is unable to drive.
As usual, the session will run from 10:00-14:00 and 15:00-19:00 local time – that’s 07:00-11:00 and 12:00-16:00 for UK fans tuning in three hours behind Bahrain.
Here is Friday’s complete line-up:
