CrossFit queen Toomey claims Comm Games weightlifting gold

Australian CrossFit queen Tia-Clair Toomey speaks outside the Carrara Sports and Leisure Centre after claiming gold in the 58kg weightlifting competition at the Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. Toomey dedicated her title to her 17-year-old cousin Jade Dixson, who died in a car accident last week, and says “this will always mean so much to me and my family”. The reigning CrossFit Games champion and world's fittest woman, says she’s honoured and really proud of what she and her coaching team has accomplished and “with that crowd tonight, in Gold Coast, in my home state, in my home country - it was very, very amazing”.
