This was my second time back to Mont Tremblant. My first was in 2012 when I finished 3rd. This year in Tremblant the race was labeled North America Championships. Most of the athletes that were racing needed points in order to qualify for Kona.

At the end of July I competed in Ironman Canada. Leading up to the race I was very fit. I had some great workouts and spent some time up in Mammoth Lakes, CA training at 8000 feet above sea level. Race day came and I felt prepared however my body didn't show it at all.

It felt great to be back on the podium again in an Ironman. I feel like I turned over a new leaf for 2014. Unfortunately it didn't show with my 6th place finish at Ironman Los Cabos six weeks ago. Why?
