Virtual Taekwondo will be a new sport at the 2026 Asian Games. Athletes will use virtual reality gear and motion trackers to compete. This digitized combat sport involves scoring points on a power gauge. Mixed-gender individual matches will feature a 16-player knockout tournament. Padel and teqball are also new additions to the games.
