Masters Take Centre Stage in Singapore
Ireland’s Masters swimmers will take centre stage in Singapore for the next week with the pool element of the World Aquatics Masters Championships set to take place at the OCBC Aquatic Centre taking place from August 7th to 14th.
Over 30 swimmers from eleven clubs will be taking to the blocks to compete in individual as well as relay events.
Ireland is already on the medal table at the Masters Championships thanks to medals from Jane Jolly (gold), Norma Cahill (silver) and Boyd Freeman (silver) at the Open Water 3K in July. Norma and Boyd are also set to compete in the pool swimming at the Championships.
Action gets underway on Thursday with the 800m Freestyle.
