The conference is a key tool in the European Aquatics Social Responsibility aim to ensure that across the whole of continent there is a consistent and practical framework which will enable more people, regardless of their age, gender or ethnic background, to learn to swim, enjoy aquatic activities, and be safer in and around water.

The two-day conference will bring together Olympians, academic leaders and experts from across the aquatic community and is as an excellent opportunity for those studying, or teaching, sport related social responsibility activities to network and further their knowledge about the European Aquatics Swim Safe Europe project. The conference speakers will all be renowned experts in this field and will present on topics of practical interest:

The first-ever European Aquatics Learn to Swim Conference took place on 11 November 2023 in Jurmala, Latvia and was a great success by facilitating the exchange of best practices and challenges in learn to swim programmes.
