Shawnee State's Kenzie Pennington closed out her first conference championship meet with the Blue and White with a bang Saturday evening, as the talented swimming hand from Ashland, Ky. reached the podium by swimming a 2:28.96 in the women's 200 yard breaststroke to finish in third overall, earning Third-Team All-MSC honors as a result and leading Shawnee State's swimming programs in the final day of competition at the Kingsport Aquatic Center in Kingsport, Tenn.

Pennington, who beat her previous personal best by a whopping 10.26 seconds en route to her Third-Team All-MSC time, also set her second NAIA provisional time of the weekend with her 2:28.96. She was also one of only three swimmers in the 15-person event to post a time of under 2:30 in the race.
