The Goat’s Forecast
Surf Forecast issued Thursday 29 May 2025: Seven day outlook for Sydney
Strange… TG is wondering if he can’t see some things others can…
Don saw sizable waves being ridden at DY Point today – early on…
But, TG saw waves elsewhere later that didn’t look at all attractive to him – or anyone else for that matter.. ??
TG hasn’t seen any whales so far this Up Season…
But, There was a whale watching boat outside… apparently watching …???
The BoM has issued Large Surf alerts for Saturday and Sunday…
But, TG just can’t see that happening at the moment. ??
Maybe TG is just finding it’s easier to get confused these days…
But, better to be Cautious on the last one and follow the BoM”s advice to be alert~~~~
Anyhoo here’s what he sees at the moment FYI ~~~
Friday: easing back a bit from today (Thursday0), say into the 1-2 metre range but more South East than today’s dead South.. maybe there are some sets hiding out there with long periods??
Saturday: somewhere in the 1-2 metre range with a lot of SSW in the swell so maybe bigger offshore than inshore
Sunday: Dittoish
Monday: eased back to around 1 ish metres at dead South spots
Tuesday: ditto dead South then East
Wednesday: looks like it could start to come up from the South with the wind, say 1-2, 2+ metres at places that get dead South swell
Thursday: could come up more.. bit early to be sure.. but nmaybe 3, 4 or more metres dead South spots.
Hope youse all have a lovely weekend and week ahead, and stay alert for the opportunities, and for the opposite (disopportunities ??)
TG.
