It was a tiny Monday morning

0 19

Hello Friends,

At 0830, the breeze was coming lightly from the west at 7-8 kts. Skies were sunny and out at sea, the MHL buoy was detecting 0.9 metres of 8-second easterly wind swell as of 0700. This was translating into knee-high to maybe waist-high wave faces for the crew out chasing bumps. Tide was dropping to the 0.62 m low at 1130 and the water was a mild 22.5°C.

Surf prospects continue to look marginal through to Thursday, but at least some modelling is showing a slight perk Friday and then, potentially, fun size surf in the 1-2 metre range for the weekend and into the first full week of May.

Here’s hoping!
