Nice day for a swim
Hello Friends,
A sunny, humid day coming up for the beaches and beyond. Unfortunately surfing doesn’t look like a thing for you today at Dee Why. The MHL data from 0600 showed 0.9 metres of 10 second energy from the east. That’s down a bit from yesterday when Dee Why was already too small to surf and when places like Curly, Freshy and North Steyne were offering little more than knee-high dribblers for the very keen.
As a glance at the latest Marine Forecast from the Bureau below reveals, our prospects for the next couple of days are only marginally better than this morning’s offerings.
Like everyone else, I’ve been watching the long range models to see if they’re going to show any hope of cyclone surf for our region. The Goat will likely have a word or two to say about this later, so I’ll just say that I’m getting cautiously hopeful about mid-next week…
Go well!
