Stay out of the water
Hello Friends,
At 0800 the MHL buoy was registering 5.2 metres of 15-second SE swell and the consequence is that everywhere I checked was wildly maxed out. So, apart from the Bower, no surfing today for non-crazy people.
Weather was partly cloudy as we head to a high of 16, which also happens to be the current water temperature.
Outlook is for today be the peak in swell energy, but tomorrow looks like being only a tiny bit smaller. According to the latest GFS model predictions, Friday will be in the 3 metre range and by Saturday we could have light westerly wind and 2.5 metres of 11-second ESE swell….
