Waves for Thursday morning

0 10

Hello Friends,

Swell faded overnight, but there are definitely still a few fun ones from the look of it. Sets at Dee Why were in the chest to maybe even head high range. There were heaps of exercisers in the water before 0800. Swell was close to dead south (171°) and as of 0800 was 1.26 m at 12-13 seconds apart.

Wind was coming from the west for the morning session, but the Bureau says it’ll go around to the NE later this morning. Tide was high at 0535 and is currently dropping to the low at 1105. Weather should sunny as we head to a high of 21C. Ocean temp is 18C and water quality is rated as good all across Sydney.

It’s Thursday, so remember to check back this evening for the Goat’s latest words of surf wisdom. I’m not too hopeful about the next few days, but I’ll be keen to see his thoughts about later in the week.

Go well, stay safe in your bubble, take the mask when you’re out and have a good Thursday.
