Eithan Osborne Wins Big Air – Stab High

Monster Energy congratulates team rider Eithan Osborne on taking first place in Big Air at the inaugural Stab High Invitational surf competition, supported by Monster Energy as the official drink sponsor in cooperation with Stab surfing magazine.  In front of a festival crowd and thousands of viewers connected via live stream, the 18-year-old from Ventura, California threw down the weekend’s highest aerial moves for the win and $20,000 in prize money. Today’s freestyle trick event saw Eithan’s Monster Energy teammate Christopher ‘Chippa’ Wilson from Australia claim second place against the world elite of aerial-focused surfers.   As the first-ever surf contest of its kind, Stab High invited 20 top freestyle surfers to Barefoot Ski Ranch (BSR) in Waco, Texas, to go big on the world’s largest air section in a man-made wave facility. The invited riders were selected based on a combination of their aerial ability and ranking in the Stab magazine reader poll, an annual benchmark of the most culturally relevant surfers.
