For some it’s old news, an event already relegated to the past tense. For others, getting a grip on reality after getting so much salt smashed up their sinus and having barrels almost cook their face off, that Durban swell that dropped still remains in the foreground of their consciousness. With photo after photo and edit after edit flooding social media and surf sites the world over, some memories are worth holding on to whilst others are better off left open to interpretation.
