Watch Jayden Eynaud knock Julius Anglickas out cold with nasty spinning backfist at Karate Combat 53
Jayden Eynaud delivered an incredible highlight-reel knockout at Friday’s Karate Combat event.
The Australian fighter faced past Bellator title challenger Julius Anglickas at Karate Combat 53 in Denver. During a wild first round, Eynaud delivered a vicious spinning backfist that knocked Anglickus head first to the canvas, and unconscious, before delivering a Dan Henderson-like follow up shot to pick up a huge win on less than a week’s notice.

Following the victory, Eynaud cut an expletive-filled promo calling out ex-UFC fighter Uriah Hall for a matchup in the pit. Eynaud is now 2-0 competing in the promotion, including a first-round knockout victory over Adam Rosa at Karate Combat 51 in December.
After winning on Dana White’s Contender Series and not leaving with a UFC contract, Anglickus signed with Bellator and won his first three fights to earn a light heavyweight title shot, where he was submitted by Vadim Nemkov at Bellator 268 in October 2021. Anglickus went on to lose his next two promotional appearances.
