[Women's Soccer] Junior Varsity Women’s Soccer plays Georgetown to a 2-0 victory

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Lindsey Wilson junior varsity women's soccer team played to a 2-0 win at Walter S. Reuling Stadium against Georgetown Sunday night.

The Blue Raiders were able to find the back of the net with eight minutes remaining in the first half. Kaitlin Cook went on a run beating three Tiger defenders before shooting a ball that was saved by Georgetown's goalkeeper. The ball rebounded back out to Katlyn Barnwell whose left footed shot deflect off the bar from 20-yards out and found a waiting Cook who finished to give LWC a 1-0.
