Mid point at the 2024 Keelboat Autumn Series!
The first day of the 2024 Autumn series was unfortunately cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, however, it kicked off in style last week with three races in perfect, if not sometimes challenging conditions for the nearly 40 boat fleet.
The Keelboat racing committee served up bacon baps to the fleet before racing, thanks to Durcan meats, so everyone was fed and watered for the day ahead. Our Race Officer, Kieran McSweeney, along with Ruth gave us fantastic laid courses to suit all fleets.
Last Sunday once again provided somewhat tricky conditions with a strong Southerly breeze and a lumpy sea as the fleet headed for open seas. Thanks again to Kieran, Ruth and Niall for a great days racing! There are two weeks left in the league, and there is plenty to play for across all fleets!
