Brazilian football superstar Neymar has been doing all his best in serious efforts to make sure that he recovers from the injury he suffered ahead of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

Neymar has been out of action for Paris-Saint-Germain since February, and the French club missed his service against Real Madrid who dumped them out of the Champions League.

Since March 2018, Neymar has been going to the gym so as to boost his chances of returning in time as Brazil will surely need him for this year's World Cup.

On Monday, March 2, the former Barcelona man spent time with his girlfriend Bruna Marquezine where he was seen wearing Sponge-bob Square pants shorts and a protective boot on his injured foot.

Neymar posted a picture on his Instagram story of him and his partner sat with their feet up relaxing in the back garden.

He has continued to document his progress on social media as he bids to make a comeback before this summer's tournament.

Since fracturing his right foot during the win over Marseille back in February, Neymar has been forced to sit out of five PSG fixtures and two of Brazil's friendlies during the international break last month.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Neymar attended the birthday of his girlfriend's younger sister which was held in Brazil despite still recuperating from injury.

But the 26-year-old former Barcelona star used crutches to accompany Bruna Marquezine to the party of her sibling.

The world's most expensive player is trying to return to full fitness in time to appear for Brazil at the Russia 2018 World Cup in June.
