Cadden Ready For Pivotal Falkirk Clash
Nicky Cadden is looking forward to Saturday’s William Hill Premiership fixture at Falkirk, and is under no illusions about how difficult the task will be, but insists he and his teammates can rediscover their best form and get back to winning ways.
Hibernian will be looking to secure a full share of the spoils at the Falkirk Stadium in order to boost our bid for European football next season.
Head Coach David Gray’s charges were beaten 2-1 by Celtic last weekend, but Cadden is confident the Hibees can surmount the task at hand in Falkirk.
As things stand, with three games to go, we sit two points clear of sixth-placed Falkirk, so there is plenty at stake in a game that could prove pivotal for both sides.
“Obviously it's not the way we wanted the last few games to go,” said Cadden.
“Getting a man sent off in the first half of both games has given us an uphill battle to climb, so we need to work on that and try to keep eleven players on the pitch.

“You don't want to get taken off the pitch, but at the end of the day it's for tactical reasons, and it's nothing to do with my performance, so you get over that quite quickly, but obviously I would rather be out there and trying to help the team win the game.
“It's massive. Falkirk had a good win last weekend against Motherwell, so we need to try to go there and get the win and secure fifth place.
“It's going to be difficult, but we've got a game plan, and hopefully if we stick to it, we'll win the game.
“We know we were off it that day [during the 4-1 defeat in January], and that wasn't like us, and we need to put things right this weekend.
“Falkirk have been good this season, especially at their place on the astroturf.
“It's a difficult place to go, but you can't take anything away from how they've been playing.
“John McGlynn’s done very well for them over the years, and you can see that when they came into the league.
“The fact they’ve come up last year and are in the top six this season speaks for itself.”
