He needs to play regularly at this stage of his career, and returning to Europe would be ideal for him. The 26-year-old was a useful player for Liverpool during his time in the Premier League, and there is no doubt that he could be a handy option for Chelsea as well. They need to find a quality alternative to Liam Delap, who has scored just once this season.
Nunez will be determined to get his career back on track, and the opportunity to play in the Premier League will be exciting for him. His hunger to succeed will be an added bonus for Chelsea if they can sign him.
