Stansfield always looks so messy on the ball its a real orritant especially in the number 10.

I love him, but I don't think he's good enough.

He's not at the moment

we changed system this year from having two 10s (Dowell wide right was a creative 10, Laird provided width) which would make the second 10 role a goalscoring one, perfect for Stansfield.

Unfortunately we now play two wide men leaving Jay/Ducksch as modern 10s and neither are perfect for it. Both were perfect for last season's system.

I think Kanya not working out in the Dowell role changed our system and made us worse. When Jay was playing well before it was with WW or Gray inverting and Laird/BOS overlapping, or Iwata inverting into a second 10.

Go back to League One style and play him as the 10. He'll be great there.
