Faye Bryson To Make Hibs Women Debut!

0 14

Head Coach Joelle Murray has made one change to her Hibernian Women starting XI as a new recruit makes her debut for the Club!

The slight tweak follows our midweek victory over Glasgow City at Petershill Park on Wednesday evening, with Eilidh Adams’ terrific match-winner sealing all three points for the Hibees.

This afternoon, we host Partick Thistle at Meadowbank Stadium; aiming to extend our unbeaten league run to eight matches.

The single change sees new signing Faye Bryson replace Stacey Papadopoulos at full-back. The versatile full-back signed for the Club in early March ahead of the post-split fixtures and has been an unused substitute in four matches since.

As Bryson is introduced, the rest of the defence remains the same – with Siobhan Hunter once again captaining the side alongside Lauren Doran-Barr and Scarlett Herron.

Noa Schumacher, fresh off securing her 10th clean sheet of the campaign, retains her spot in goal to make her 30th appearance of the 2025/26 season.

Irish midfield duo Ciara Grant and Jess Fitzgerald are paired together in midfield for a fourth consecutive match, whilst Adams, Rosie Livingstone, Kathleen McGovern and Tegan Bowie have all been named in the attack once more.

Eight substitutes are unchanged on the bench. Goalkeeper Rowena Armitage deputises for Schumacher in goal, as Caley Gibb, Papadopoulos and Ellis Notley bring defensive reinforcement.

Rachael Boyle and Jess Ramsay offer midfield depth while Hannah Jordan, Tiree Burchill and Kirsty Morrison provide attacking threat off the bench.

Kirsten Reilly and Linzi Taylor are the only absentees ruled out through injury.
