Miss WorldGavlaaa40jimboIf he had walked past me I might have shown some mild disapproval of the performance. But it is the fact he actively comes over to the fans that annoys me. If he is looking for a reaction then poeople are going to tell him what they think aren't they.
Personally I don’t care if a manager comes over or not but the fact he never shirks it is to be commended in my opinion because not many would after the game Saturday.
I just find it absolutely mind boggling though that in a separate reply you gave Rowett his flowers for not coming to applaud after relegation and that Davies should learn from that?? Mate, we hadn’t got relegated on Saturday?!?
Absolutely right. You can’t come over when you win and not when you lose.
Players and managers come to the away end after to thank the fans for turning out, spending their time and money, and supporting the team. Nobody’s coming over to ‘look for a reaction’, and as several people have noted a manager who walks off without acknowledging the fans will get pelters from some for bottling it or not thanking them for their support.
All of this ‘I’ve paid my money, I’ll act like a weapon if I like’, or ‘I’ve paid my money they should thank me’, or ‘I’ve paid my money and… anything really…’ is crap. If you want to go and are lucky enough to be able to get a ticket and have the funds to pay if you want to, then go along. If not, then don’t.
Boo or don’t boo, but if you boo then do so knowing it’s a bit daft really.
This.
