There have been set ups that show how we could do better away - Coventry at Home, Norwich away. - both different. But we haven't used either set up since. I know that both Ducksch and Priske have struggled for fitness in games. and we can't play the same tactics every week, but it is mystifying why we aren't repeating successful tactics more. It is as if the Coventry game was against his principles and the Norwich game a bit too risky.
I think we are too often trying to minimise risk when we lose the ball, but it does not work.
We did have one attacking free kick about 10 yards outside their area on the left. They had several in the wall. I was a bit surprised Ducksch wasn't involved in it. Maybe it was outside his range, but he has had a few good free kicks recently. I was disappointed we did not shoot - especially as we put in a harmless cross.. Gray and Duscksch seem capable of scoring from that sort of situation. Maybe others as well.
