Martin Keown thinks Tottenham will be relegated if they lose one Premier League match
Tottenham Hotspur’s alarming run of form has intensified relegation fears, with Martin Keown now weighing in on the club’s chances of survival.
Tottenham Hotspur’s inconsistencies from the start of the Premier League season have landed them in hot water as they run the risk of losing their Premier League status.
The Lilywhites have managed just seven wins in 29 league games this season and have lost a staggering 14 matches.
In their last 11 outings in the Premier League, Tottenham have not tasted victory and remain winless in 2026.
In fact, since the turn of the year, Spurs have statistically been the worst team in the English top flight, and it is no surprise they are embroiled in a relegation scrap.

Tottenham relegation fears addressed by Martin Keown
Former Arsenal defender Martin Keown has now given his prediction on whether Tottenham will be able to avoid going down to the Championship this season.
Speaking to talkSPORT during a studio discussion, Keown shared his honest assessment of Spurs and their fight for survival.
During the conversation about Tottenham’s position, Simon Jordan first suggested the club are in danger before Keown gave his own view on the situation and the challenges ahead for Igor Tudor’s side.
Speaking on whether Tottenham are in mortal danger, Simon Jordan said: “Yeah I think they are. The only thing that will keep Spurs up at this moment in time is if the other teams beneath them do not close the gap.”
Commenting on Tudor’s time so far, he added: “He went hard after the players and it did not get much of a reaction did it.”
Keown then chimed in: “I think he has been put in a perilous position. Liverpool away next in the Premier League, I mean that is a huge game for them. Then they play Forest, you know what I mean, that is like a winner takes all match. If they lose that game then I think they are gone.”
Spurs face crucial fixtures in relegation battle
Of course, the former Arsenal man is right in his assessment of what comes next for Tottenham. With nine games left in the league, the margin for error is extremely low for the Lilywhites, especially when those below them are in much better form.
One point is currently the difference between Spurs and West Ham United in 18th place, and that is far from a comfortable lead.

Should Tottenham drop points against Liverpool at Anfield, they run the risk of slipping below those dreaded dotted lines.
However, their blushes might be spared this week, as West Ham themselves are up against Manchester City.
