Should Cadbury's be Boycotted?
So I'm back for the week doing this and that and part of my visit involves bringing back things that are just better. Hershey's, for example, and all their associated confectionery is awful. So I'm taking things for the people there to understand.
I've just been on the Cadbury's website ordering various things for people, keeping it Brum despite the sale etc. anyway to my disgust, with the next special occasion coming this weekend, it's plastered with the word 'Mum', an abomination of a word. If you are one of these I say 'mom' but I write 'mum' you're a geographical traitor too.
This is Birmingham's chance using it's soft power to push 'the way' on to people, we have had to live with badly spelt cards Mother's Day cards for years, yet Cadbury's have turned their back and gone with the status quo. Mom is short for mother, it's an o.
Now that I've spent 90 quid on chocolate, I think it's time to push forward with a boycott for change.
