The Gladiators bring in Lambton
The 25-year-old shot-stopper joined Emley in 2022 and has been described as the rock upon which the league’s best defence was built. During his time there, he helped the club reach the play-off final and has kept an astonishing 20 clean sheets in all competitions this season.
Gladiators boss Adam Clayton expressed his enthusiasm for the new arrival.
He said: “We are delighted to get Dec on board. I’ve always been an admirer of his, and bringing him in at such a vital time of our season, especially after losing Dylan, shows just how ambitious our club is.
“He is a great shot stopper who is confident, experienced despite his age, and excellent with his feet. Everyone at the club is delighted he’s now with us.”
Declan’s move is subject to League and FA approval, but he is expected to be available for Saturday’s away fixture at Blyth Town.
