Isn’t it about time that we changed to a midfield 5 away from home? So many times (look at nearly all our defeats) our midfield gets outnumbered and we spend the majority of the game defending for our lives.
When we play 2 up front or 1 just behind the forward we don’t create anything for them down the middle and then defensively we are caught out with wide open spaces.
We only have one form of attack and that is to go wide every time.
Teams have sussed that if they stop us down the flanks, we struggle to create.
I am firmly on the Davies in corner, but I really think he has to try different options when it is obvious we are struggling.
