Tottenham should be concerned by Fulham’s form ahead of Premier League derby

0 5

Tottenham Hotspur are still looking for their first Premier League victory of the year, but their next opponents are just beginning to build some momentum.

Tottenham Hotspur are in dire need of a Premier League win, having failed to pick up three points from a single domestic fixture since December 28 against Crystal Palace.

Spurs were thumped 4-1 by Arsenal last weekend in Igor Tudor’s opening game at the club, extending their losing streak to three matches.

This has left the North London team just four points above the relegation zone, as West Ham managed to seal a draw with Bournemouth on Saturday.

Fulham are building form ahead of Tottenham clash

Things are not about to get any easier for Spurs, as Fulham are the next team attempting to snatch three points from their grasp.

The Cottagers got off to a poor start in February, losing their opening three matches. However, they defeated Stoke City in the FA Cup and followed this up with a 3-1 away win over Sunderland.

This was Marco Silva’s third Premier League victory of the year, with Fulham also getting the better of Chelsea and Brighton in recent times.

In their last nine matches across all competitions, Fulham have five wins and four defeats. Tottenham, on the other hand, have four draws and five defeats.

Spurs cannot get a win in the Premier League

Tottenaham find themselves in a very different situation, as there have been no signs of any improvement in the English top flight.

It has been more than three weeks since Spurs even won a point, and since then they have scored just two goals, while conceding eight.

Tudor will be hopeful of Liverpool defeating West Ham on Saturday, but relying solely on other teams to keep his team up would be unacceptable. It is about time the Tottenham players actually deliver for once and claim a crucial victory over Fulham.
