Tottenham receive Lucas Bergvall enquiries from two of Premier League top five
Tottenham Hotspur may face a battle to keep hold of midfield starlet Lucas Bergvall, who is wanted by two Premier League clubs.
While reports indicate that Tottenham are eyeing an ambitious squad rebuild in the summer, the club are not in a position to plan for the next transfer window just yet.
For one, Spurs are not even assured of their place in the Premier League next season, and even if they manage to maintain their top-flight status, they look in danger of another embarrassing league finish on the back of their 17th-place finish last term.

That may make them susceptible to losing some of their best players, and there has already been interest in one of their young starlets.
Aston Villa and Chelsea have launched enquiries for Tottenham’s Lucas Bergvall
It has now been revealed in The Athletic that Bergvall was the subject of two approaches in the January transfer window.
After enjoying a brilliant first season in North London, the 20-year-old has been used more sparingly this term, with Thomas Frank often employing him off the flanks.
It is revealed that Bergvall favours a central midfield position, and his predicament at N17 attracted the attention of both Chelsea and Aston Villa, who are both long-term admirers of the youngster.
Both clubs made contact to check on the Swede’s situation in January, but Tottenham made it clear that he was not for sale.
Spurs may face a fight to keep Bergvall
The Athletic explain that Unai Emery’s men made their check after Tottenham pipped them to the signing of Conor Gallagher.
Chelsea evaluated a move for Bergvall while they were also assessing a move for Douglas Luiz, who ultimately returned to Villa Park.
There remains a possibility that the Swedish international could be subject to transfer interest again in the summer, and it is asserted in the report that the Lilywhites ‘could face a battle to keep hold of Bergvall’.
