Rob Gronkowski’s Heartwarming Move Ahead Of Super Bowl LX Goes Viral
The New England Patriots are back in the Super Bowl for the first time since 2019, and they will look to take down the Seattle Seahawks once again in Super Bowl LX. One guy who knows what it takes to win on the biggest stage the NFL has to offer is former Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski.
During his legendary career with New England, Gronkowski turned himself into one of Tom Brady’s top targets in the passing game, helping the team win its three most recent Super Bowl championships. Now, he will watch from afar as the Pats attempt to make NFL history by winning their seventh Super Bowl.
Of course, this game is just as big a deal for fans as it is for the teams and their players. As a result, Gronkowski teamed up with USAA to give a Marine veteran from Tampa, Edwin Peña, a pair of tickets to Super Bowl LX.
“Coming back to Tampa with USAA and the Marine Corps Association to surprise Marine Corps veteran Eddie Peña with a trip to the Super Bowl, Gronk style, was such a privilege and his reaction was priceless,” Gronkowski said.
“I have so much respect for all of our veterans and having the chance to take him on a tour of the Bucs’ facility, relive some of my favorite memories, and create new ones for Eddie is what Salute to Service is all about.”
Gronkowski has been working with USAA for years, and he’s always been incredibly generous with his time when it comes to giving back to the fans. As a result, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that he’s stealing the show once again before the Super Bowl.
Once the game rolls around, though, it will be all business for Gronkowski, as he will surely be pulling for his old team to come out on top. Kickoff for Super Bowl LX is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday night.
