Tottenham forced into drastic measure due to deteriorating relationship with Spurs fans
As the relationship between the Tottenham supporters and the club continues to worsen, Spurs have decided to take a precautionary step to protect the club’s officials.
The deteriorating relationship between the Tottenham supporters and the club has been a topic of discussion internally at the club over recent months.
The supporters have booed the team off the pitch on many occasions this season, and many are not happy with the fact that big steps were not taken in the transfer window.
Some Tottenham players have even had direct altercations with fans after matches, and the reaction from the supporters has forced the club to take a significant step.
Tottenham officials are being kept away from the supporters
The Daily Mail have now revealed that there has been anger directed at the owners and officials after some matches.
Following Tottenham’s defeat to West Ham, an angry supporter confronted Vivienne Lewis in a corporate area, demanding that she sack Thomas Frank and sell up the club. Club legend Steve Perryman had to intervene and act as the peacemaker.
As a result, Tottenham Hotspur have now decided to intentionally keep the senior officials away from the fans on their way in and out amid a ‘heightened security operation’.
Is the patience with Thomas Frank justified?
The main bone of contention between the owners and the supporters at the moment appears to be about Frank’s future
Many Tottenham fans have made it clear that they want to see a managerial change, but the club’s hierarchy is continuing to show faith in their summer appointment.
However, reports indicate that Spurs’ top brass will be forced to get rid of Frank if the club moves any closer to the relegation zone.
