Team News: Hamilton (H)

0 2

Joelle Murray has made three changes to her Hibernian FC Women starting XI for the visit of Hamilton Academical at Meadowbank Stadium this afternoon.

The Hibees are looking to get back to winning ways following last weekend’s narrow defeat to Rangers, as the 10-player Hibees lost 2-1 at Broadwood Stadium.

Our goalkeeper and defence remain intact; with Noa Schumacher, Lauren Doran-Barr, Scarlett Herron, Ellis Notley, and Club Captain Rachael Boyle all starting once more.

Holding midfielder Ciara Grant comes back into the starting line-up. The Irish international replaces 16-year-old Jess Ramsay, who made her first-ever league start last weekend.

There is a first Hibernian league start for summer signing Hannah Jordan following two frustrating spells on the sidelines since joining the Club. Rosie Livingstone is the player who makes way for the attacker.

The third and final change sees wide forward Kirsty Morrison make her 20th appearance of the season across all competitions; replacing suspended midfielder Kirsten Reilly.

Jess Fitzgerald, Eilidh Adams, and Tegan Bowie all keep their places in the team to round out the XI.

The outgoing Livingstone and Ramsay join fellow Academy graduate Rowena Armitage on the substitutes list.

Joining the three aforementioned Hibs Academy graduates on the bench is NextGen stars Lucy Stevenson and Olivia Cornet. The two youngsters are featured in a matchday squad for the first time and could make their senior Hibernian debuts if brought on.

Further bench options include versatile defender Stacey Papadopoulos and centre-forward Kathleen McGovern, who netted on her return from injury against Rangers last weekend.
