Done deal: Juventus have full En-Nesyri agreement and plot medical

0 13

Multiple outlets in Italy are reporting that Juventus have a full agreement in place with the club and player to bring Youssef En-Nesyri over to Turin from Fenerbahce in January.

Juventus have En-Nesyri deal wrapped up

Juventus have been hoping to add a new centre-forward to their ranks in January: Dusan Vlahovic is out with a long-term injury and is into the final months of his contract, while Jonathan David and Lois Openda have not yet convinced in the no.9 role for the Old Lady.

Despite suggestions that Juventus were keen on a deal for Crystal Palace’s Jean-Phillippe Mateta, the Bianconeri have moved to secure a deal with Fenerbahce for 28-year-old Morocco international En-Nesyri instead.

Juventus sporting director Marco Ottolini has been in Istanbul over the last few days in an attempt to wrap up a deal with both Fenerbahce and the player himself.

According to the likes of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport and Gianluca Di Marzio, Juve have secured an initial loan deal for En-Nesyri at a cost of €3m with a future option to buy for an additional €17m. Juve will also cover En-Nesyri’s salary in full, which will add roughly another €4m to the cost of the deal between now and the end of the 2025-26 campaign.

Some reports claim that Juventus are hoping En-Nesyri arrives in Italy with Ottolini on Saturday.

There is no immediate rush, however, as the Moroccan will not be registered in time to play against Napoli on Sunday, and will be ineligible to feature in the Champions League until the end of the league phase. That means that the Serie A match against Parma on February 1 is a realistic date for a potential debut.

Other reports claim that En-Nesyri is likely to have a medical in Turin on Monday.
