Colwyn Bay FC are delighted to confirm the signing of Ryan Astles from JD Cymru Premier champions, The New Saints.
The 6’4” centre-back began his career at Tranmere Rovers before moving on to have spells with Chester City, Wigan Athletic, Buckley, Rhyl and Southport from whom he joined The New Saints in 2020/21.
Having made his debut in the UEFA Europa League, Astles established himself as a crucial player at Park Hall, helpinging guide TNS to several trophies and their historic run in the UEFA Conference League.
Upon joining Colwyn Bay, Astles said: “I’m really looking forward to joining Colwyn Bay.
“The club has great potential to push on and challenge at the top end of the table, especially being backed by a great set of supporters.
“I can’t wait to get started and hopefully play my part to bringing success to the team.”
