Report Juventus in talks over deal for ex-Milan star Theo Hernandez
Sunday’s reports claim that Juventus are in talks over a sensational deal for ex-Milan full-back Theo Hernandez, who has spent the 2025-26 season in the Saudi Pro League at Al-Hilal under former Inter head coach Simone Inzaghi.
Reports Juventus discussing summer move for Theo Hernandez
Theo Hernandez left Milan after six seasons at the end of the 2024-25 season and joined Al-Hilal in a deal reported to be worth around €20m plus bonuses. The Frenchman is reportedly earning around the same amount per season on his current Al-Hilal contract.
According to various reports in Italy, Theo is already considering a move away from the Saudi Pro League, and according to reports that originated from Carlo Pellegatti, there are already ‘advanced’ talks going on with Juventus.
It is important to note that Sunday’s reports refer to a potential summer transfer rather than one in the January window.
The Bianconeri had been linked with a move for the Frenchman at various stages in the 2024-25 season before he eventually moved to Riyadh.
Theo also gave an interview to La Gazzetta dello Sport just before Christmas, insisting that he never truly wanted to leave Serie A, but that Milan had threatened to freeze him out had he stayed and seen out the final year of his contract. “I deserved better treatment,” he claimed.
It remains to be seen how much it will cost to sign Theo Hernandez if Juventus do decide to proceed with a deal. What is for certain is that the left-back will have to significantly lower his wages, currently estimated to be around €20m-€25m per season, if he is to sign for a Serie A club.
