Pitch Update | Hartlepool United (H)

Woking Football Club can advise supporters that, after an early pitch inspection this morning, the pitch is deemed playable ahead of tomorrow’s Enterprise National League fixture against Hartlepool United.

With temperatures forecast to drop to around -2°C from Friday evening into Saturday morning, the Club has been taking precautionary measures to protect the pitch. Frost covers will remain in use overnight as part of ongoing preparations.

We have been maintaining close dialogue with the match referee and Hartlepool officials since Tuesday to ensure all parties remain fully updated. On the basis of the current pitch condition, the Hartlepool team have left to travel to Surrey. A second inspection is being scheduled for 10:30am tomorrow morning.

Woking FC will continue to work diligently to support the staging of the match as planned.
