Louis Longridge helps Hudson Family do the Captain's Armband Double

EUAN MURRAY and Louis Longridge’s captain’s armband delivery has become  staple of The city Stadium match experience.

A dozen young supporters have been gifted a priceless memento for staying behind to cheer Sean Crighton’s Spiders off the pitch.

Some have not been so lucky – though Louis Longridge certainly eased one dad’s dilemma when he picked out a recipient against Clyde.

Earlier this season Queen’s Park in the Community player Thomas Hudson got his hands on Euan Murray’s armband  against Airdrie – much to sister Emma’s envy.

But, after the young fan stayed behind with dad Alan after last week’s 2-1 win in the KDM Evolution Trophy, the Hudsons did the double and Emma matched her brother in picking up the special matchworn gift from vice-captain Louis.

Emma is now proud owner of the armband, sponsored by the Queen’s Park Supporters Association this season.

The Spiders will again hand out a post-Christmas gift at full-time against Partick Thistle this weekend.

Look out for Euan Murray, Louis Longridge – or even last week’s stand-in skipper Josh Fowler – when our Glasgow derby hits full-time.
