Change in approach (no replies)
When will the penny drop that we aren’t good enough to constantly press and play out from the back when we are away?
Hopefully against Watford, we’ll realise that there are other ways to win, sit back in our own half, let Watford defenders have the ball without chasing them, then look to break with whatever speed/movement we can find in our squad (I’d go jay upfront, gray and koumas on the wings and put Iwata back in midfield as a 3). I’d tell the back 4 and 3 central midfielders that they are not allowed to cross the half way line for the first 45 mins (we’ve been behind at half time in 10 of 12 away games I think).
Does Davies have it in him to accept that we need a different style of play?
