Tottenham draft new Guglielmo Vicario transfer plan after recent run of errors
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly shifted their transfer plans and are now actively looking for a replacement for the struggling Guglielmo Vicario.
Tottenham Hotspur’s defeat away at Nottingham Forest was largely self-inflicted as individual errors once again proved costly for the north London side.
Guglielmo Vicario was the culprit for both goals at the City Ground, adding to a growing catalogue of mistakes the goalkeeper has made throughout the current campaign.
That defeat has only served to pile further pressure on manager Thomas Frank, who will be desperate to turn things around as scrutiny on his number one intensifies.

Tottenham insider Paul O’Keefe has now claimed that the club are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper following the recent howlers from Guglielmo Vicario.
The reliable journalist stated during a Q&A with supporters that the north London outfit had not previously been considering a move for a shot-stopper, but the situation has now changed, although it remains unclear whether a deal will be sought in January or the summer.
“Starting to look at goalkeepers now – I don’t think January but there was a time not long ago that it wasn’t a consideration. It is now,” O’Keefe wrote on X.
Spurs are keeping tabs on multiple goalkeepers
Spurs have been linked with several goalkeepers in the past week, with Manchester City’s summer signing James Trafford emerging as a potential option.
Barcelona veteran Marc-Andre ter Stegen has also been a name thrown into the mix, while Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen has similarly been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Unfortunately, Spurs were handed a major blow in their reported pursuit of Trafford when Pep Guardiola confirmed that the Englishman will not be leaving the Etihad Stadium in January.
