Manchester United star Noussair Mazraoui enjoyed another productive evening for his nation Morocco.

The 28-year-old started for his side in their 4-0 thumping win over Uganda.

The full-back delivered a sublime cross from the right flank to the far post which was guided into the net by Ismael Saibari at the half-hour mark.

It was a dangerous, whipped delivery between the defence and the goalkeeper that helped him pick up an assist.

Mazraoui starred for Morocco by creating six chances, the most by any player in that contest.

He successfully completed both of his dribbles and played nine passes into the final third.

This shows his composure with the ball and his willingness to move the ball forward rather than sideways.

Mazraoui views himself as more of a right centre-back in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system.

Having a proactive defender like him in the back three would be a blessing.

The former Bayern Munich man also performed superbly in defence.

He completed five recoveries and made two tackles.

He won six of his nine duels, including both of his aerial battles.

Mazraoui also picked up an assist during their 1-0 international friendly win over Mozambique on Friday night.

He has had a stop-start 2025-26 season due to multiple injuries but it looks like he is finally hitting his top form.

We believe his displays could now force Amorim to retain him in the starting XI when Everton travel to Old Trafford next Monday.

However, it would be ideal to see him in the right-sided centre-back role rather than on the wings.
