Scott McTominay’s strike in Napoli’s 3-1 win over Inter was voted as the best goal in Serie A in October.

Scotland international McTominay scored the best goal in Serie A in October.

His strike at the Stadio Maradona on October 25 was the most voted by fans on Serie A’s social media channels.

“The goal scored by Napoli midfielder in the match against Inter on 25 October was the most voted by fans on the official social media channels of Lega Serie A,” a statement from Lega Serie A read.

“The perfect finish from the edge of the box allowed Scott McTominay to overtake in the voting Nico Paz’s splendid left-footed shot against Juventus.”

McTominay has scored four goals and provided one assist in 13 Napoli games across all competitions this season.

The former Manchester United midfielder was instrumental to Napoli’s title win in 2024-25, becoming the league’s MVP last season.
