Kean injury: Official Fiorentina updates before Milan clash
Fiorentina’s medical director, Luca Pengue, rules out a serious ankle injury for Moise Kean, but the Italy international continues training separately ahead of a Serie A game against Milan.
Fiorentina have provided the latest injury updates regarding their star striker Kean, who was subbed off in Italy’s win over Estonia last week, shortly after scoring the opening goal in the game.
Kean suffered an ankle injury and was not available for a 3-0 win over Israel on Tuesday.

“Moise returned on Monday evening, and we immediately started treatment,” said the Fiorentina doctor.
“Fortunately, the tests he underwent did not show any kind of lesion, but clearly there was a sprain, so we’re working to get him back on the field as soon as possible. So far, everything is going well. We’ll assess his condition day by day.”
Kean has only scored one goal in Serie A this season, while Fiorentina have not won any of their opening six league games this term.
This coming Sunday, they visit Stefano Pioli’s former club Milan at San Siro.
Double Fiorentina injury boos ahead of Milan clash
Fiorentina doctor Pengue added that Dodo and Jacopo Fazzini, who had suffered injuries in a home game against Roma before the international break, returned to group training on Tuesday, having recovered during the international break.
Milan will surely be without Alexis Saelemaekers against Fiorentina, but Christian Pulisic is also likely to miss the game due to a hamstring injury suffered while on international duty.
