"He wants everything": Amorim says 22yo Man Utd star is prepared for Chelsea

Manchester United will be eyeing their second win of the Premier League season against Chelsea.

The Red Devils have had a frustrating start to the campaign with four points from as many games.

Manager Ruben Amorim is already under pressure and needs to deliver a strong result today.

Ahead of the encounter, Amorim was full of praise for Benjamin Sesko and said that he is a ‘perfectionist’ and ‘he wants everything’ ahead of today’s encounter against the Blues.

He told Manutd.com: “He is taking it all in. It is a different club and he is a professional and a perfectionist.

“You can feel that and he wants everything for tomorrow and we have to balance that.

“You feel he can do the job, we can talk all things, system, if one ball goes in the box and we win one game, then two, this will change.

“The important thing is last year I said it was clear, we cannot play well, we cannot create chances.

“This year it is different and we can avoid all the goals we are suffering, yes. Let’s work on that and next week, next week.”

The 22-year-old has had a tough introduction to English football. He has made three substitute appearances and a solitary start in the Premier League thus far.

The Slovenian has come close to scoring on a few occasions, but his shots have lacked accuracy. He is adapting to the league, but needs to find his feet sooner rather than later.

Amorim’s job is relatively safe at the moment, but the scenario will be different if United’s ongoing league run continues. Sesko’s return to form is much-needed for the Red Devils.

The manager has the opportunity to start his dream attack of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Sesko today. The duo have not started together in a league game thus far.

United have had a decent league record against the Blues in the top-flight at Old Trafford. They are unbeaten in the last 12 meetings at the stadium, but there have been seven draws.

The Red Devils need to make a big statement with a victory over Chelsea. They were at their best against Arsenal despite a 1-0 loss and must replicate a similar showing this evening.
