Boston Radio Host Shares Encouraging Update On Jayson Tatum’s Achilles Rehab

0 14

Jayson Tatum is likely to miss most or all of the Boston Celtics season due to a torn Achilles, but there is some hope that he could return before the playoffs begin next April.

If Tautm is going to return to action within the year, he’ll need to ensure he doesn’t have any setbacks while rehabbing, and so far, he is off to a good start.

During 98.5 The Sports Hub’s “Zolak & Bertrand,” Marc Bertrand shared exciting news on Tatum’s rehab.

“The Celtics are very happy with how hard Jayson Tatum has been working at his rehab and his level of focus and intensity in the rehab process,” Bertrand said Thursday.

Tatum has been rehabbing in Boston, which is significant because many players with major injuries often leave their team and recover in another state.

“He did not leave town,” Bertrand added. “He has been here the entire time.”

If Tatum can return to the court this year, it will change the Celtics’ entire plans for the season. Instead of being a fringe playoff team, Boston could once again become the team to beat in the Eastern Conference.
